Leadership

Faithful leadership rooted in
humility, accountability, and shared responsibility.

We believe leadership is a calling to serve, steward, and walk alongside others.

How We Lead

Micah Mission is guided by a commitment to servant leadership shaped by faith, relationship, and responsibility. We believe leadership is not about position or recognition, but about presence, accountability, and care for people and community.

Rooted in the call of Micah 6:8—to act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with God—our leadership seeks to listen well, collaborate broadly, and steward this work with integrity. Decisions are made prayerfully and thoughtfully, with an awareness of both immediate needs and long-term impact.

We lead with the understanding that this mission is bigger than any one person. It is sustained through shared leadership, trusted partnerships, and a collective commitment to walk alongside our neighbors with dignity and compassion.

Brian Halterman serves as Founder, Executive Director, and Lead Pastor of Micah Mission, bringing over three decades of experience in pastoral leadership, community engagement, and nonprofit service. Brian’s work is grounded in faith and guided by the conviction that lasting transformation happens through presence, trust, and consistent care. Rooted in the call of Micah 6:8—to act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with God - he leads with an unwavering heart for justice and a pastoral posture that values dignity over quick solutions.
Alongside his wife, Renee, Brian continues to help shape Micah Mission as a space where people are seen as neighbors, not problems to be solved - where community is cultivated, relationships are honored, and hope has room to grow.
