Micah Mission Leadership

Get to Know Us

At the heart of Micah Mission are two people whose lives are shaped by a deep commitment to justice, compassion, and community: Pastor Brian and Renee Halterman.

Together, Brian and Renee serve as the visionary and servant-hearted leadership team behind Micah Mission—a nonprofit rooted in Micah 6:8: “To act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with God.” Their shared calling is to walk alongside the unhoused, marginalized, and under-resourced in the Lompoc Valley, creating spaces where every person feels seen, valued, and supported.

With over a decade of hands-on experience in outreach and care coordination, Brian brings pastoral leadership, strategic insight, and an unwavering heart for justice. Renee complements this with her intuitive compassion, relational strength, and a gift for creating environments

where people feel safe, heard, and loved.

Their journey hasn’t been one of charity—it’s been one of community. Through weekly outreach, warm meals, street-level care, spiritual support, and collaborative partnerships with local agencies, the Haltermans have helped transform lives and restore dignity in powerful, practical ways. They believe real transformation happens through real relationships,

and their approach reflects that belief every day.

More than leaders, Brian and Renee are neighbors, mentors, and advocates—committed to walking with people through their hardest moments and into hope.
Their prayer is simple:
that no one would walk alone, and that everyone would know they belong.
