COMMUNITY. CONNECTION. BELONGING.

There's a Place for You Here.

Community is more than a place. It's the people we meet, the conversations we share, and the moments that remind us we belong.

At Micah Mission and the H.U.B., something meaningful happens when people come together. Around a meal, during a community gathering, through a special event, or simply in the everyday moments of life, relationships grow and hope takes root.

Whether you're joining us for the first time or have been part of our journey for years, there's always an opportunity to connect, participate, and become part of something bigger.

**You don't need a special invitation. There's a place for you here.**

Everyone is welcome. Every connection matters.

WHAT'S HAPPENING

What's Happening at "the H.U.B."?

There's always something happening when community comes together.
From shared meals and everyday gatherings to special events,

community celebrations, and opportunities to connect with local organizations,
the H.U.B. is a place where relationships grow and everyone has an opportunity to belong.

Explore what's coming up, find something that interests you,

and come be part of the journey.

**Whether it's your first visit or your hundredth, we're glad you're here.**

EVERYDAY MOMENTS. MEANINGFUL CONNECTIONS.

More Than Events. Moments That Matter.

Some of the most meaningful moments in life aren't found on a calendar.
They're found around a table, in a conversation, through a shared laugh,
or when someone remembers your name.

At the H.U.B., our regular gatherings create opportunities for people to connect,

find encouragement, build friendships, and simply enjoy being part of a community.

You don't have to be facing a crisis to join us.

You don't have to know anyone before you arrive.
**Sometimes belonging begins with simply showing up.**

A Space for Women

Women's Day

community in action

Saturday at "the H.U.B."

A time set aside for women to relax, connect, build friendships, and enjoy a welcoming environment. From meaningful conversations and shared activities to practical support and encouragement, Women's Day is about creating a space where every woman feels seen, respected, and valued.
Saturdays bring people together through community meals, practical assistance, conversation, and opportunities to connect. Whether you're stopping by for a meal, spending time with neighbors, or volunteering alongside others, Saturday is a reminder of what happens when a community shows up for one another.

FOOD. CONVERSATION. ENCOURAGEMENT.

Soup, Salad & Care for the Soul

A PLACE TO BELONG

Community Hours & Shared Meals

Our Sunday gathering offers a chance to share a meal, enjoy meaningful conversation, and hear an encouraging message about life, hope, and faith. Everyone is welcome to join the conversation, enjoy the food, and experience community. Participation in spiritual activities is always a personal choice.
Sometimes what someone needs most is a place to sit, a friendly conversation, or a meal shared with others. Community Hours offer opportunities to connect, find encouragement, and enjoy being part of something meaningful—without pressure, expectations, or the need for a special reason to come.

You Don't Have to Know Anyone to Belong.

Maybe you're new to the area. Maybe life has been difficult lately.
Maybe you're looking for friendship, a way to contribute,
or simply something meaningful to be part of.

Whatever brings you through our doors,

we want you to find more than an activity or an event.
We want you to discover a place where people notice when you arrive,

where conversations become connections,
and where everyone has something valuable to bring.

**Come as you are. There's room for you here.**

CELEBRATING COMMUNITY. CREATING CONNECTIONS.

Special Events & Community Celebrations

Some of the most meaningful moments happen
when a community comes together for something special.

A holiday meal shared with neighbors. A celebration that brings laughter and joy.

A gathering where new friendships begin. An event where people give their time, resources,
and hearts to make a difference.

At Micah Mission and the H.U.B.,

these moments are about more than an occasion on the calendar.
They're opportunities to strengthen relationships,
celebrate the people who make our community special,
and remind one another that everyone deserves to belong.

**Because when we come together,

we create more than memories. We build community.**

SHARING MORE THAN A MEAL

Holiday & Special Community Meals

Holidays and special occasions are opportunities to gather around the table, share good food, enjoy conversation, and celebrate together. Our special community meals are about more than what is served. They're about creating moments where people feel welcomed, remembered, and valued.

Check the calendar for upcoming

meals and participation details.

MOMENTS WORTH CELEBRATING

Event activities and participation

requirements may vary.

NEIGHBORS HELPING NEIGHBORS

Community Outreach & Giving Events

When neighbors, businesses, churches, and community organizations come together, meaningful things happen. From essential resource distributions and community outreach to collaborative service projects, these events turn compassion into action and help strengthen the connections that hold our community together.

Some events welcome participants,

volunteers, and donations.

GATHERING WITH PURPOSE

Fundraising & Bridges of Hope Events

Special fundraising gatherings, including our Bridges of Hope events, bring supporters, volunteers, businesses, and friends together around a shared commitment to hope and community. These occasions celebrate generosity, strengthen relationships, and help sustain the everyday work of Micah Mission and the H.U.B.

Some fundraising events require tickets,

registration, or a contribution.

Every Gathering Has Its Own Story.

Some events are open community gatherings where everyone is invited to participate.
Others may be designed for a particular group, require advance registration,
or include tickets and fundraising opportunities.
We want everyone to know what to expect before they arrive.

Visit our events calendar for current dates, locations, times, and participation details.

If you have questions about an event, you're always welcome to reach out to the H.U.B.

**Whatever the occasion, our commitment to dignity,

hospitality, and meaningful connection remains the same.**

CELEBRATING COMMUNITY. CREATING CONNECTIONS.

Special Events & Community Celebrations

Something meaningful happens when organizations stop working in isolation
and start working alongside one another.

At Micah Mission and the H.U.B., we believe that building a stronger community
requires more than any one organization can provide.
It takes people willing to share their experience, resources, compassion,
and commitment to the well-being of our neighbors.

Throughout the Lompoc Valley, community partners
help bring valuable services, educational opportunities,
practical assistance, and meaningful connections closer
to the people who need them.

Sometimes that means a healthcare provider offering support.
Sometimes it's a legal advocate helping someone understand their options,
a community organization sharing essential resources,
or volunteers creating a welcoming experience.

**Different organizations. Different gifts. One community working together.**

Health & Wellness

Caring for the Whole Person

LEGAL HELP & ADVOCACY

Understanding Rights & Options

Healthcare and wellness partners help connect our neighbors with health information, medical resources, preventive care opportunities, and support for physical and emotional well-being.

Connections may include local healthcare providers, Public Health, BeWell, and community wellness organizations.

LEARNING & DISCOVERY

Opening Doors Through Learning

Community literacy, educational, and technology partners help make books, learning opportunities, information, and useful tools more accessible to individuals and families.

Examples include Charlotte's Web Bookmobile and other educational and community programs.
Legal assistance and advocacy partners create opportunities for individuals to better understand their rights, ask questions, and explore options when facing complicated legal or personal circumstances.

Includes connections with the Legal Aid Foundation of Santa Barbara County and other advocacy resources.

FOOD & ESSENTIAL RESOURCES

Neighbors Helping Neighbors

Food access partners, local growers, businesses, and volunteers help make fresh produce, meals, clothing, hygiene supplies, and other everyday essentials available to people experiencing hardship.

Includes collaboration with local food organizations, farmers markets, food rescue partners, and community donors.

RESOURCE NAVIGATION & SUPPORT

Making Connections That Matter

Outreach and service partners help individuals explore housing resources, benefits, identification assistance, recovery services, and other pathways toward greater stability.

Connections may include City Net, community outreach teams, behavioral health providers, and other local service organizations.

COMMUNITY & BELONGING

Creating Places to Connect

Volunteers, faith communities, businesses, and neighborhood organizations help create opportunities for shared activities, meaningful conversations, celebrations, and relationships that strengthen our community.

Every person and organization has something valuable to contribute.

More Than Referrals. Real Relationships.

For someone facing a difficult season,
being told where to go for help is one thing.
Having someone willing to listen, make a connection,
and help explore the next step can mean something entirely different.
That's why relationships with community partners matter.

When organizations share information, coordinate services,

visit the H.U.B., or collaborate on community activities,
they help create opportunities for people to access support
in a setting where they already feel welcome.

Not every service is available every day,

and no single organization can promise every solution.
But every connection has the potential to open another door.

**And sometimes one meaningful connection

can change the direction of someone's journey.**
Partner visits, programs, and services vary by date and availability.
Check our events calendar for scheduled activities
or contact the H.U.B. for current information.
Mention of an organization does not necessarily mean
that its services are available onsite at all times.

LET'S CREATE SOMETHING MEANINGFUL TOGETHER

Have an Event or Want to Collaborate?

Some of the best things happening in our community
begin with a simple conversation.
An organization with a resource to share.
A business looking for a meaningful way to give back.
A church or community group with volunteers ready to serve.
Or someone with an idea that could bring people together in a new way.

At Micah Mission and the H.U.B., we believe
that meaningful collaboration begins with listening, building relationships,
and discovering what we can accomplish together.

We welcome conversations with individuals, organizations,

businesses, and community groups interested in creating opportunities
that strengthen connection, dignity, and belonging throughout the Lompoc Valley.

**You don't need to have every detail figured out.

Sometimes a good idea simply needs a place to begin.**

BRING PEOPLE TOGETHER

Volunteers, Businesses & Community Groups

Have an idea for a gathering, educational activity, celebration, or community experience? We'd love to hear how it might create opportunities for people to connect, learn, and build relationships.
Does your organization provide services, expertise, resources, or support that could benefit our neighbors? Let's explore opportunities to collaborate, share information, or bring meaningful assistance closer to the people who need it.
From helping with special events and community meals to contributing skills, supplies, or sponsorship, there are many ways to come alongside Micah Mission and help create meaningful experiences for our community.

Let's Start a Conversation.

You may have a fully developed idea, or you may simply be wondering
whether there's an opportunity to work together.
Either way, we'd love to hear from you.

Tell us a little about yourself, your organization, or the idea you're exploring.

We'll be glad to discuss possibilities, learn more about what you have in mind,
and consider whether there's a meaningful way to collaborate.

**Because opening doors and changing lives

often begins with people willing to work together.**
Community events and collaborative activities are considered
based on their alignment with Micah Mission's purpose,
available space, staffing, resources, scheduling, and the needs of our community.
Submitting an idea or inquiry does not guarantee an event,

partnership, or use of the H.U.B. facility.
We welcome opportunities for conversation and thoughtful collaboration.

YOUR PLACE. YOUR PEOPLE. YOUR COMMUNITY.

Come As You Are. There's Room for You.

Maybe you're looking for a place to connect.
Maybe you'd enjoy sharing a meal, meeting new people,
or finding something meaningful to be part of.

Maybe you've been thinking about volunteering,
getting involved in your community,
or simply stepping outside your everyday routine.

Or maybe you're just looking for a place
where you can walk through the door and feel welcome.

Whatever brings you here, we want you to know that the H.U.B. is more than
a building, a calendar of activities, or a collection of programs.
**It's a place where people matter. Where relationships grow.
Where everyone has something valuable to bring.**

You don't have to have everything figured out.

You don't have to know anyone before you arrive.
And you don't need a special reason to come.

**Come as you are. There's room for you here.**

Hope for today. Unity for the journey. Bridges for tomorrow.

Everyone is welcome. Every person matters.
Every connection begins somewhere.
