Our Commitments Are More Than Words.

At Micah Mission, we believe the way we treat people matters just as much as the work we do.
Every person deserves dignity. Every relationship deserves respect. And every act of generosity carries responsibility.
That's why we're committed to being open about the values, policies, and practices that guide our organization.
Because trust isn't built by what we promise. It's built by how we live those promises every day.

Every Person. Every Story. Every Time.

Every person who walks through the doors of the H.U.B. brings a story.
Different backgrounds. Different experiences. Different beliefs. Different challenges.
But one thing should never be different: the dignity and respect with which every person is treated.

At Micah Mission, our commitment to serving our community begins with
recognizing the inherent worth of every individual.

Everyone Deserves Dignity

equal access matters

respect is not conditional

We believe every person deserves to be seen, heard, and treated with compassion and respect - regardless of their circumstances, background, or the challenges they may be facing.
We are committed to providing services without unlawful discrimination and to creating an environment where people can seek support without fear of being judged or excluded.
We welcome people with different beliefs, experiences, and perspectives. Participation in religious activities is not a condition of receiving services at the H.U.B.

You don't have to believe what we believe to be treated with dignity, welcomed into our community, or receive the support available at the H.U.B.

Faith Inspires Our Service.
It Never Determines Who Receives It.

Micah Mission was born from a simple calling found in Micah 6:8: "Act Justly. Love Mercy. Walk Humbly." These words are more than a statement of faith. They shape how we welcome people, how we build relationships, and how we serve our community.

Our Christian faith inspires us to love our neighbors, stand alongside those facing difficult circumstances, and create a place where every person can experience dignity, compassion, and belonging. But we also believe something equally important: You do not have to share our faith to receive our care.

Whether someone comes to the H.U.B. for a meal, clothing, hygiene assistance, community resources, or simply a place to breathe, our welcome and available services are not dependent on religious beliefs or participation.

We believe faith is most meaningful when it is lived through love, humility, and service - not when it becomes a condition placed on someone seeking help.

Our Welcome Has No Religious Requirements.

Prayer, spiritual conversations, and opportunities for faith-based encouragement may be available for those who choose them. Participation is always voluntary. No one is required to pray, attend worship, participate in religious activities, or agree with our beliefs to receive available services at the H.U.B.

Our faith gives us a reason to serve.
Your dignity gives us a responsibility to serve well.

Protecting People. Respecting Stories.

Every person who walks through the doors of the H.U.B. brings a story that deserves to be treated
with dignity and respect. Some stories are shared openly. Others are entrusted to us quietly,
in moments of vulnerability, uncertainty, or need.

We recognize that the information people share, the photographs we take, and the conversations we have all carry.  At Micah Mission, we believe respecting privacy isn't simply about protecting information. It's about protecting people. Because no one should have to surrender their dignity to receive compassion.

Personal Information
Deserves Care

When people share personal information with Micah Mission, we recognize the responsibility that comes with receiving it. We seek to collect only information needed for appropriate services or organizational purposes and to handle it
with care and respect.

Every Story
Deserves Respect

Personal experiences are not simply stories
for us to tell. We believe individuals should
have a meaningful choice about whether
and how their experiences are shared publicly, and that their dignity should always come
before publicity or promotion.

Photography
With Dignity

Photographs can help tell the story of
community and hope. But we believe they
should be taken and shared thoughtfully, with appropriate permission and respect for the
people pictured - especially when children
or sensitive circumstances are involved.

A Place Where
People Feel Safe

We want the H.U.B. to be a place where people can ask questions, seek assistance, and build relationships without unnecessary fear or embarrassment. Respectful interactions, appropriate boundaries, and thoughtful practices help create an environment where trust can grow.

Your Story Belongs to You.

We believe no one should feel pressured to share personal experiences, participate in photographs, or make their circumstances public in order to receive available services. Every person deserves the opportunity to be part of the community while maintaining their dignity and personal boundaries.

Dignity doesn't end when someone shares their story.
It's reflected in how carefully we protect it.

Every Gift Carries Responsibility.

Every gift to Micah Mission represents more than
a financial contribution. It represents someone
who believes in the mission, trusts the work
being done, and wants to be part of creating
hope in our community.
We recognize the responsibility that comes with

that generosity. Whether someone gives five
dollars, volunteers their time, donates supplies,
or makes a significant financial investment,
every contribution deserves to be treated
with care and respect.
Because responsible stewardship isn't simply

about managing resources. It's about honoring
the people who entrust them to us.

Generosity Makes Hope Possible.

Meals are shared. Essential needs are met. Relationships are built. Community partnerships grow.

Behind these everyday moments are people who believe that hope is worth investing in.
We believe every resource should help strengthen the mission and the community we're here to serve.

Thoughtful Stewardship

We believe every contribution deserves careful consideration. Our commitment is to make responsible decisions about how resources are used, with the needs of our community and the long-term health of the mission in mind.

Responsible Oversight

Financial responsibility includes appropriate organizational oversight. Micah Mission's leadership and Board of Directors have distinct responsibilities in supporting sound decisions, accountability, and responsible stewardship.

Transparency & Trust

We believe supporters and community members should be able to understand how Micah Mission is funded and how its resources support the mission. Clear information and open communication help strengthen that trust.

Independent by Choice. Community-Supported by Design.

Micah Mission has intentionally chosen not to rely on restricted funding sources that would place restrictions on how we respond to the needs of our community. We believe this approach allows us to remain flexible, relational, and responsive - meeting people where they are and addressing needs that may not fit neatly within a particular program or funding category.
Our work is made possible through the generosity of individuals, businesses, churches, foundations, community organizations, and neighbors who believe in what we're building together. This approach comes with both freedom and responsibility. It allows us to respond with flexibility, but it also means that sustaining the mission depends on the continued generosity and participation of our community.
We don't take that trust - or that responsibility - lightly.

Accountability Includes Being Willing to Share.

We believe financial stewardship and transparency belong together. Supporters, partners, and community members should have a clear way to learn about Micah Mission's nonprofit status, financial accountability, and available organizational reports.
As part of our commitment to transparency, we'll make appropriate financial and organizational documents accessible through our Policies & Transparency resources.

Every gift matters. Every resource carries responsibility.
And every act of generosity helps make hope possible.

Accountability Requires More Than Good Intentions.

Micah Mission began with a calling to serve, but carrying that calling forward requires more than compassion and good intentions. It requires responsible decisions, clear expectations, and a willingness to be accountable for how we lead and operate.

We believe organizational integrity is strengthened when leadership responsibilities are understood, decisions are guided by the mission, and the people entrusted with oversight take those responsibilities seriously.

Because protecting the mission also means protecting the trust of
the people and community we serve.

Clear Leadership Responsibilities

Ethical Decisions & Integrity

Responsible leadership begins with understanding who is responsible for what. Micah Mission's organizational leadership guides daily operations, while the Board of Directors carries responsibility for governance, oversight, and the long-term health of the mission.

Policies That Protect the Mission

Organizational policies help establish expectations, clarify responsibilities, and guide consistent decisions. We believe these safeguards should support responsible operations while protecting the dignity, safety, and trust of the people connected to Micah Mission.
We believe decisions should be guided by honesty, fairness, and the best interests of the organization and the people it serves. Ethical leadership includes recognizing potential conflicts of interest, acting responsibly, and placing the mission above personal advantage.

Accountability That Encourages Growth

Accountability also means being willing to listen, evaluate, and improve. We believe meaningful feedback, thoughtful reflection, and a willingness to make necessary changes are essential to serving our community well.

Leadership Is a Responsibility. Not a Privilege.

At Micah Mission, leadership is an opportunity to serve - not a position that places someone
above accountability. Whether making decisions about resources, guiding organizational direction,
or responding to the needs of our community, we believe those entrusted with leadership
carry a responsibility to act with humility, integrity, and care. No title should place someone
beyond responsibility to the mission and the people we serve.

Integrity is not measured only by the decisions we make
when people are watching. It's reflected in
the responsibility we carry every day.

Transparency Means You Can Find the Answers.

Policies, Documents & Organizational Information

Trust grows when people have access to clear information. At Micah Mission, we believe our
community, supporters, and partners should be able to understand the commitments
that guide our organization and the responsibilities we carry.
This resource center brings together information about our nonprofit organization,
governance,
financial stewardship, and the policies that help guide our work. Some documents are
available for public review, while others may be provided upon request when appropriate.

Because transparency isn't simply about having answers. It's about making those answers accessible.

Governance & Leadership

Responsible leadership requires clear responsibilities, thoughtful oversight, and a commitment to organizational integrity. These resources help explain how Micah Mission is guided and governed.

Financial Stewardship

Every contribution represents someone's trust. We believe responsible stewardship includes appropriate financial oversight, clear communication, and access to relevant organizational information.

People, Privacy & Protection

The dignity, safety, and privacy of every person matter. These resources explain the commitments and practices that guide how we welcome people, handle information, and respect personal boundaries.

Transparency Is About Access. Not Just Availability.

We recognize that not every question can be answered by a document. Sometimes people
need clarification, additional information, or an opportunity to speak with someone directly.
We welcome thoughtful questions about Micah Mission's operations, governance,

policies, and stewardship. When information can appropriately be shared,  we want to
help people find it. When confidentiality or other responsibilities limit what can
be disclosed, we believe those boundaries should be communicated respectfully.

Trust grows when questions are welcomed, information is
accessible, and accountability is more than a promise.

Questions, Concerns, and Conversations Are Welcome.

Because accountability begins with listening.

We believe trust grows when people know their voices matter. Sometimes that means asking a question. Sometimes it means offering a suggestion. And sometimes it means sharing a concern about something
that didn't go the way it should have.
At Micah Mission, we recognize that even with the best intentions, there will be moments when we need

to listen more carefully, understand a different perspective, or consider how we can do better. We
want people to feel comfortable reaching out - whether they're receiving services, volunteering,
partnering with us, or supporting the mission.

Because being committed to dignity means being willing to listen

when someone feels that dignity hasn't been honored.

Questions Deserve Answers

We welcome questions about our services, organizational practices, policies,
and the decisions that affect our community. When we can provide
information or clarification, we want to help people find it.

Concerns Deserve Respect

Sharing a concern should never mean someone is treated as a problem. We
believe people deserve to be heard respectfully, even when conversations
are difficult or perspectives differ.

Feedback Helps Us Grow

Suggestions, experiences, and constructive feedback can help us recognize what
is working and where improvement may be needed. We believe listening is
an important part of responsible leadership.
We welcome your questions, suggestions, and concerns. Please share what you'd like us to know. You do not need to provide more personal information than necessary. If you'd like a response, include a way for us to contact you.

Concerns About Organizational Leadership

We recognize that some concerns may involve organizational leadership or decisions that require additional oversight. When appropriate, concerns involving organizational leadership should have a pathway for review by someone who is not directly involved in the matter. Our goal is to provide a respectful way for concerns to be heard and considered while protecting appropriate confidentiality.

Listening Is Part of How We Serve.

We believe people should be able to ask questions, offer feedback, and express concerns without being dismissed or treated with disrespect. Listening doesn't mean every request can be fulfilled or every disagreement resolved in the way someone hopes. But it does mean recognizing that every person deserves to be heard with dignity. We may not always get everything right. But we believe we should always be willing to listen, learn, and work toward doing better.

Every voice deserves respect.
Every concern deserves consideration.
And every conversation is an opportunity
to strengthen trust.

Trust Is Something We Build Together.

At Micah Mission, we believe trust is built one relationship, one decision, and one act of compassion at a time. Our commitment to dignity, transparency, and accountability isn't simply about the policies we establish or the information we share. It's about creating a community where people feel welcomed, where generosity is honored, where leadership carries responsibility, and where every person knows their voice matters.

We recognize that trust must continue to be earned. And we're grateful for every person who helps us build a mission rooted in compassion, integrity, and hope. Because hope doesn't happen through one person or one organization. It happens when a community chooses to build something better together.

Hope grows when people choose to participate. Whether you volunteer, partner, give, or simply help someone feel seen and valued, there's a place for you in the journey.

Our Commitment Continues.

We won't always have every answer. We won't always get everything right.
But we remain committed to treating people with dignity, leading with integrity,

listening with humility, and doing the work necessary to earn the trust placed in us.
Because the way we serve matters just as much as the services we provide.

Act Justly. Love Mercy. Walk Humbly.

Hope for today. Unity for the Journey. Bridges for tomorrow.
